The vision of The Arts Partnership is to be the leading agency in the
advocacy, promotion, education and coordination of visual, literary, and
performing arts in the Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo region. The mission of The
Arts Partnership is to serve and advocate for the arts in our community.
- Position Summary
The Assistant to the Executive Director provides essential administrative
and programmatic support to the Executive Director and helps to facilitate
all operations of The Arts Partnership.
- Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Office Operations:
- Manage calendars, schedules, workflow and timelines
- Initiate and respond to email, phone calls, mail.
- Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, tax reporting
and day-to-day bookkeeping.
- Oversee office upkeep.
- Services, Products and Programming:
- Manage online calendar CulturePulse.org website and work with member
organizations to post relevant information.
- Provide service to and support for the partners and constituents of
The Arts Partnership.
- Assist the Executive Director with print and online publications
including ArtsPulse (bi-monthly newspaper), Arts Partnership website,
and e-newsletters.
- Assist with event planning for all Arts Partnership programs, meetings
and events.
- Programming:
- Facilitate the annual re-granting process for the cities of Fargo,
Moorhead, and West Fargo.
- Lead and manage the annual meeting of The Arts Partnership.
- Lead and manage partner programs/programming.
- Conditions of Employment
- Hours: Part-time (30 hours/week)
- Working Conditions: The position requirements can be performed in normal
office conditions. Some travel may be necessary. Dress attire is business
casual. Flexible schedule.
- Salary Range: $11-$12/hour depending on qualifications.
- Qualifications
Education and Experience: Associates degree required, Bachelors degree
preferred. A successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in a
professional setting where excellent communication and organizational
skills were utilized.
