The Arts Partnership Now Taking Artist Submissions for Individual Artist Grants, CSA and ArtWORKS
Hey, individual artists! The Arts Partnership has a couple of terrific opportunities for individual artists we want to bring to your attention. For those of you who represent organizations, please pass this on to your members, performers, and colleagues to help us spread the word:
Grants for Individual Artists:
We are now taking submissions for Individual Artist Grants for the 2018-2019 year. Through this program, visual artists, writers, poets, performers, musicians, artisans and more can apply for project grants of $250 to $2,500.
There are two parts to the Individual Artist Grant program: The Individual Arts Partnership grants (for all but musicians) and the Jade Presents Arts Partnership grants (for musicians). Anyone interested in applying for either of these grants MUST attend a pre-application meeting (see the schedule below).
The deadline to apply for a grant is 5 p.m. Monday, September 10. Click here for more information.
Community Supported Art (CSA):
We are also looking for artists to create art for next our Community Supported Art season. This program introduces artists to arts supporters and helps build audiences for their work. Throughout the CSA season, up to 50 shareholders receive a total of six pieces of art and performances over three events in May, July and September. There is a baseline artist stipend of $1,050.
The deadline to apply for our CSA program is 5 p.m. Monday, August 27. Click here for more information.
ArtWORKS is a program that fosters creativity and mindfulness by placing art in local businesses, companies, organizations and more. Its focus is primarily on solo exhibitions for visual artists in corporate spaces. However, we also are looking for performing artists, musicians, writers, poets and artisans who could lead an employee engagement activity for those businesses and corporations interested in deepening their commitment to creativity in the workplace. Artist stipends apply.
This is an ongoing Call for Artists. (Please note: The updated application will be posted later this week.) Click here for more information.
