The Arts Partnership invites the public to ChalkFest, the largest FREE art-making event in the metro, 12 – 7 p.m. Thursday, August 10, at Red River Zoo – proudly sponsored by Gate City Bank!
ChalkFest attendees will draw with FREE chalk, get FREE admission into the Red River Zoo (including animal talks), eat delicious food, meet local artists and arts organizations and more.
The Arts Partnership is pleased to welcome artist Chelsie Liberati from the Savannah College of Art and Design to be our ChalkFest Artist-in-Residence.
Chelsie will engage the community with chalk murals at Gate City Bank locations throughout Fargo, Moorhead and West Fargo on August 7, 8 and 9 as a lead-in to the event on August 10. Morning drawings will take place roughly between 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. and afternoon drawings 2 – 5 p.m. at the following branch locations:
Monday, Aug. 7

Tuesday, Aug. 8

All are welcome to watch Chelsie both in the days leading up to the event and at ChalkFest itself!
The Arts Partnership first hosted ChalkFest in August 2013 and the event has grown exponentially over the years. 450 people attended the first year and over 5,500 people attended last year.
