Arts Advocate Awards
Each year the Arts Partnership solicits nominations from our membership of individuals, organizations and businesses that have been vital to the arts in our area. We seek both civic and educational nominees with the following criteria:

• Promotes and develops, in area citizens, an appreciation for and participation in the cultural activities offered by area artists and arts organizations;
• Encourages cooperation and coordination among cultural and art organizations in the community;
• Helps create a thriving arts environment by promoting and supporting the events, activities, and services of the cultural and arts organizations in the community;
• Works to develop and sustain government recognition and support of arts in the community.

Volunteer Opportunities
The Arts Partnership and our member organizations cannot survive without volunteers. We are currently looking for people to help in the following areas:

• Writers with journalism experience and interviewing skills for the ArtsPulse newspaper; we are also looking for photographers, editors, and ad sales people
• Committee members are also needed to fill the Arts Council's many standing committees
• Most of our member organizations are seeking qualified volunteers to fill numerous positions.

Financial Donations
Donating financially to the Arts Partnership offers many benefits including listings in our print and online publications, invitation to the annual Arts Advocate Awards, and discounted advertising rates in the ArtsPulse newspaper. Additionally you gain the satisfaction of knowing you support and strengthen our arts community.
