Renting a Studio
Aptitude includes a total of 19 dynamic studio spaces for artists of all backgrounds, career levels, media and practice.
(Check out the following tabs for more info and to submit an interest form.)
- Artists are strongly encouraged to imagine engagement activities to bring new audiences to their art.
- Preference is given to artists seeking longer-term studio rentals of six months or more. We will consider short-term leases on a case-by-case basis, given studio availability.
- Aptitude studio artists who sign longer-term leases of six months or more automatically become Partners of The Arts Partnership, with all the benefits that encompasses.
- All renters must agree to follow the Aptitude Policies and be respectful of the fact that Aptitude is a shared business space for creatives.

Aptitude has the intriguing mystery of the wardrobe in C.S. Lewis’ The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. Our long entryway could dissuade some, but the inviting “Creativity Takes Courage” sign from Fireline Neon Company and Cereal quoting Henri Matisse imprints curiosity despite initial hesitation.
Once people walk down the hallway, however, a whole new world of charming artist studios opens up to them. Going even further, we want Aptitude to be the place that opens up to the rest of the arts in the community, too.
