Welcome to Aptitude!

Creative art studios at West Acres

As we navigate the challenges associated with COVID-19, we have some health safety requests for our visitors.

We ask that individuals and groups please maintain six feet of social distancing between themselves and others, including the artists, whenever possible. We also encourage all visitors to wear masks if possible, and check with the artists before touching items.

Thank you for supporting our arts incubator studio spaces with your visit.

Aptitude has the intriguing mystery of the wardrobe in C.S. Lewis’ The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. Our long entryway could dissuade some, but the inviting “Creativity Takes Courage” sign from Fireline Neon Company and Cereal quoting Henri Matisse imprints curiosity despite  initial hesitation.

Once people walk down the hallway, however, a whole new world of charming artist studios opens up to them. Going even further, we want Aptitude to be the place that opens up to the rest of the arts in the community, too.
