Traveling art show combines creative  perspectives of visual artists and writers

WHERE: The Art Center (Jamestown), James Memorial Art Center (Williston), Bismarck State College Galleries, Cando Art Center, Northwest Arts Center (Minot State), more TBD

Creatives of all specialties are invited to join! Showcase your work in the first-of-its-kind collaborative touring art show. This call for submissions welcomes the work of writers and visual artists from across the region for this juried show.

Deadline to submit is Saturday, November 7.

Fill out the Google Form here to submit.

Bisman Writing Guild invites community members to participate in “The Art of Writing,” a touring show where artists and writers work together to create inspired new pieces of work. It will be determined through this registration process whether you would like to base a piece of work on a written piece (if you’re an artist), or base a written work on a piece of art (if you’re a writer)- and yes, artists are welcomed to enter in either, as you never know what other creatives and judges will respond to.

Do not forget to send your example pieces to theartofwritingshow@gmail.com.

Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Planned stops in the traveling exhibition include 5 galleries across the state. It’s a true first for art and literature in North Dakota!

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out at theartofwritingshow@gmail.com.
