Lakes & Prairies Community Action Partnership is excited to announce their ‘Paint it Forward’ fundraising event to benefit all the people served across the agency! We have been serving the community for over 50 years and have been called ‘the best kept secret.’ It’s time to spread the word about our work so we can better engage with our community.

Our mission is to eliminate poverty by empowering families and engaging communities. Currently, we are developing better ways to serve in a more holistic manner and our hope is to designate funds to fill the gaps in our service. We need your help!

‘Paint It Forward’ event will pair local crafters and artists with the families we serve. They will create a collaborative work of art to be displayed and auctioned at the event. Attendees will enjoy appetizers and beverages during the social while they admire the artwork. The event will not only serve as a fundraiser, but also as enrichment for those served. It will give them an opportunity to express themselves through art and give back to our community.

If you are an artists looking to get involved, contact communications coordinator Amanda Even before February 28th. If you can’t participate in person, artwork donations will also be accepted through Amanda. Involvement in the collaborative art project is on a volunteer basis.

Learn more about the May 9th event on our calendar.
