The Photoville FENCE is a year-round public photography project exhibited in major parks and downtowns across North America. Featuring over 85 photographers annually, the exhibition brings compelling visual stories into the public realm, and to a wide and diverse audience.
Artists are invited to submit series of photographic and/or lens-based work exploring the following categories: home, creatures, people, play, streets, nature, food.
Due to the uncertainty and hardship brought on by COVID-19, particularly for many photographers and freelancers, we are offering a new option to pay-what-you-can, which you can select at the end of your submission. This is in addition to our regular need-based scholarship fee waivers which remain available.
This showcase is part of an international public art project set to arrive in or community by the fall of 2020. The Photoville FENCE is a large scale, traveling photography project exhibited in public places such as major parks and downtowns, bringing compelling visual stories to life. Now, it’s coming to our community!
