Gallery 4 is excited to announce our new Artist In Residence exhibit and talk for emerging and established artists. Adam Holzgove, https://www.facebook.com/share/1DwjKjyfx3/ is our first Artist in Residence and his work is installed and available to see at Gallery 4 from March through May.
Adam Holzgrove is from Detroit Lakes, Minnesota and his art company is called Ikaikaarts. He is a wire sculpture artist specializing in metal bonsai. His work has been featured at the Minnesota State Fair, the Kindred Area Arts Partnership Spring Gala, and many other exhibitions over the past several years. He loves sharing his craft with others and in 2023, was awarded a grant through Lake Region Arts Council to teach more than 100 students from grades K-12 to make their own metal bonsai sculptures. This year, he plans on exploring the storytelling aspect of his craft and finding new ways to spread awareness of metal bonsai as an artform. His goal is to turn into a buff Bob Ross with a sweet mustache and find out just how far his art can take him.
