Sandy Evans
My name is Sandy Evans. I am from the small town of Kasson in SE Minnesota. I’ve been stitching since I was a child and have spent the last 40 years sharing my love of creativity with others. My career in retail has included owning a cake decorating store, a craft store, and for most of my career, a quilting and stitchery store in the Rochester, MN area. I hold a BA in Art from Augsburg College and consider myself a mixed media artist, blending techniques to create rich textures. Working mostly with fiber fills a need to touch the texture and see the colors. I have taught hundreds of classes and led many retreats, always enjoying the process of helping others master techniques and explore their own creativity.
