Favorite Poem Reading Event at the Fargo Public Library

April is National Poetry Month and to celebrate, the Fargo Public Library is hosting a Favorite Poem Reading event Sunday, April 8 at 2 p.m. at the downtown Main Library.

Inspired by U.S. Poet Laureate Robert Pinsky’s Favorite Poem Project, the event is an opportunity for the community to get together and celebrate the importance of poetry by reading a favorite poem out loud, as they are meant to be. Some special guests might be present and light refreshments will be served. The event is free and open to the public and registration is not required. For more information, call the Main Library Information Desk at 701.241.1492.

Fargo Public Library events are free and open to the public. Adults must accompany children younger than age 10. For a list of upcoming events or for more information, visit www.fargolibrary.org.
