Register now for the second session of NASAA’s 2021 Learning Series, New Advocacy Messaging Strategies, for a deeper look at how to use our new Arts and Creativity Strengthen Our Nation narrative and messaging guide.
Speakers from Metropolitan Group will provide tips and techniques for communicating about public funding for arts and creativity in ways that broaden and deepen policymaker support across the political spectrum.
Participants will learn how to anchor advocacy arguments from a position of strength, which then bolsters statements about the different benefits of the arts. This session also will address how to respond to common objections, such as a scarcity of funds or the assertion that the arts should be supported through private or earned income rather than government.
State arts advocacy group board and staff members will be invited to this special virtual training, to make these helpful advocacy insights available to everyone in your state.
We encourage all state arts agency and regional arts organization staff and council/board members to participate in the NASAA 2021 Learning Series. To make this program accessible to all members, NASAA has waived registration fees for the entire series.
