Handbuilding Clay Camp is the perfect place for students who love to draw and are eager to explore a new way to tell their stories. In this hands-on class, campers will create functional pottery pieces while illustrating their own unique narratives on clay. Using handbuilding techniques like pinch pots and coil pots, students will bring their artistic visions to life on ceramic surfaces. They’ll also experiment with wax and sgraffito inlay to add intricate details to their creations.

This camp is ideal for young artists who want to combine their love for drawing with the exciting process of creating pottery. By the end of the week, campers will have crafted one-of-a-kind,  functional storytelling pieces—perfect for showcasing their creativity in a new medium!
