*followed by general dancing to a variety of music until 9pm, which may include various styles of ballroom dance, line dancing, or mixers.
The Hustle dance, often associated with the Saturday Night Fever era, is considered a blend of swing and Latin dance styles. Usually a three-step count (“and-one, two, three” or similar variations) that involves a rock step, with partners holding hands and rotating. Known as a great dance for beginners, it is still frequently used at weddings and parties.
