On December 21, 1988, the Pan Am 103 flight crashed in Lockerbie, Scotland. “The Women of Lockerbie”, presented by Theatre NDSU, is about a mother from New Jersey who travels to Lockerbie in order to search for her son’s remains. While there, she meets the women of the town. These women collect the clothes of the dead so they can be washed and returned to the victims’ families, fighting the US Government every step of the way.
“The Women of Lockerbie” runs from December 4 – 6, and from December 10 -13. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Walsh Studio Theatre in Askanase Hall.
Tickets are $8 for students, $10 for seniors, and $12 for adults.
