The FM Area Caring Catalog is a crowdfunding site for nonprofits to list specific needs, projects, and programs that need support. This is a one-stop shop for donors to come explore and learn about nonprofit needs in our community. The Foundation will do mass marketing of this tool to connect nonprofits with community members, donors and fundholders of the FM Area Foundation. There will also be a robust plan of incentive grants in place that will be available closer to the launch date.
Details:
  • All credit card fees will be waived, so 100% of donations will go to your organization.
  • There is no participation fee. This is free for all nonprofits to utilize.
  • The 2020 Caring Catalog will run November 24 –December 14.
  • Only one Caring Catalog entry per organization.
  • Must be a 501(c)(3) organization in Cass County, ND, or Clay County, MN, to participate.
  • The amount requested will be capped at $10,000 this year. Once a project is fully funded it will remain on the catalog, but the donate button will be unavailable. Donors will still be able to click your website link, if they would like.
  • You are required to do a small checklist of marketing and outreach activities. We would LOVE it if you did more to share and help increase the reach of the catalog and your project.
  • Application window to submit your entry is September 1- September 30. A link will be sent out next week.
  • The Caring Catalog is designed to highlight specific needs within your organization. Be specific.
  • The Foundation has a comprehensive marketing plan for publicizing the Caring Catalog to our community, and we hope you will join us in sharing it.
Please see the attached one-pager to learn more about the Caring Catalog, and how you can help share this giving platform with your donors.
