The Fargo-Moorhead Community Theatre, Theatre B and Tin Roof Theatre have joined together to hold auditions for all the shows in the second half of the 2014-2015 Season. Auditioners will come to one audition and be seen by directors for multiple shows. When initial auditions are completed, the companies will hold staggered callbacks.
Auditions will be held November 2 & 3 at The Stage at Island Park, with staggered callbacks on November 3 and 4. There will be an audition workshop held on Tuesday, October 28 from 7 – 9 p.m. at The Stage at Island Park, led by Brad Delzer and Karla Underdahl.
“Having a unified audition is more convenient for the actors involved – and it’s more humane,” says Theatre B Executive Director Carrie Wintersteen. “It also opens opportunities for the artists that people may not have seen on their own. For the companies involved, working together on auditions is already a positive experience that will hopefully lead to unexpected opportunities.”

Each auditioner will be required to prepare a two minute audition. During that audition time, each auditioner may choose to present any combination of the following during their audition time, based on which show types they wish to be considered for:
1) one monologue (plays)
2) two contrasting monologues (plays)
Please note that due to time constraints each auditioner will be asked to stop at the two-minute mark. It is recommended that these be memorized.
