The North Dakota Human Rights Film Festival is hiring a Native American Programming Director. It is a seasonal contract spanning May – November. We’d be so appreciative if you could share with your networks. A PDF of the position is attached, and interested candidates can apply for the position online.
In two sentences, the position would be responsible for identifying and scheduling films made by Native American filmmakers that should be screened as part of the North Dakota Human Rights Film Festival. The position would also assist in identifying Native American filmmakers or social justice advocates who should be invited to the festival as guests to participate in panel discussions at the festival.
The position can be an in-office position at our offices in downtown Fargo, or remote. Candidates outside of North Dakota are welcome to apply, but preference and priority will be given to individuals who live in and are members of one of the 5 Tribal Nations located in North Dakota.
The contract rate is $3,600 with a cell phone allotment. Reimbursement for travel and expenses related to the festival are also available.
Questions about the position or the festival can be directed Sean Coffman, at Sean@human-family.org.
