Scheduled to stream Saturday, February 20 at 6 p.m., Celebration of Women and their Music has an exciting group of talented artists will be performing live from TAK Music Venue in Moorhead, MN.

Founded in 1998 by Deb Jenkins, Celebration of Women and their Music recognizes artistic passion in women and creates opportunities for emerging and established artists alike.

“Just giving them that pat on the back and being recognized is a big deal, and that’s why we do the show to keep that support for those young girls,” says Deb Jenkins.

A not-for-profit-event, these women come together to show their support and give the young female award recipients (listed below) encouragement and praise for all they have accomplished in their art field.

In their 24th year of concerts featuring female artists, Celebration of Women and their Music will stream live on Saturday with hosts Deb Jenkins and Barb Gravel.

The money raised at this virtual event goes towards continuing this event and to an endowment fund established with the F-M Area Foundation.

“It is important to physically do it because that physical part of the show is so important for them and for us actually too, we’re giving back to the community and the people that come and work,” says Jenkins.

If you have any questions about the application process or this virtual event you can find Celebration of Women and their Music on Facebook.
