This Saturday, November 30th, is Small Business Saturday–it’s the perfect day for everyone to get out and support local businesses and entrepreneurs, and artists are both of those things!
There are lots of great places to go to support local makers, but we have a new one this year that we are particularly excited about: Aptitude, the arts spaces we built in collaboration with West Acres, is opening to the public from 10-6 this Saturday, and we know that you will be delighted by what’s inside. With 20 or so artists, there’s sure to be something for everyone. We’re located right next to Best Buy, so stop by, say hello and do your part to #supportlocalart.
Need some more inspiration? Take a look back at the Small Business Saturday columns (this one and this one) I wrote for the Forum years ago. They still pertain, even if some of the shops have changed.
We’re so thankful for all of the ways you have supported The Arts Partnership this year, and we look forward to doing even more together in 2020!
Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving weekend; we hope to see you out and about on Saturday and throughout the busy holiday season.
