The Cropdusters are a rotating cast of local musicians performing duo/trio sets in a varying combination of styles and influences. You may have seen them performing live around town at numerous venues, or maybe even caught their recent stream of Live@Livewire.
The growing list of musicians featured include; Dustin (Duster) Ellingson on bass, Nate Pitcher on guitar and vocals, Dan Kaufman on guitar and vocals, Jake Schaefbauer on guitar and vocals, Jake Ingamar on guitar and vocals. Learn more about the band on Facebook.
The Cropdusters were also selected to receive a grant this year from Jade Presents and The Arts Partnership to bring their live concerts to the next level with crucial equipment.
Jake Ingamar is a singer-songwriter and musical artist from Fargo, ND. He got his initial start by playing in local jam bands throughout college and accompanying local artists playing pedal steel guitar when he was in his late teens (even playing the Whisky a Go Go in Hollywood when he was 20 years old). Since then, he’s had the opportunity to open for Parker Millsap, Sawyer Fredericks, Dead Horses, and the sold out Band of Horses concert last July.
In the fall of 2018, Jake received a grant of $2,500 by The Arts Partnership and Jade Presents to help fund his own professionally-recorded album in 2019.
