You can find a complete rundown of FFF winners, films, showtimes, and synopses at fargofilmfestival.org.

One of the best experiences to be had at the Fargo Film Festival is the thrill of discovery: sitting in the darkened theatre, program in hand, drawn in by the title and blurb for a film but still feeling that tickle of the unknown. And then, bam, it comes on and it’s a brain-scrambling winner.

While that discovery is probably still best done with popcorn in hand (and maybe wearing one of those snazzy black and yellow scarves), you can whet your appetite with plenty of teasers and trailers online (thank you, Vimeo) for films selected to screen at the FFF. In fact, there are few you can’t find through a simple Google search.

So, we did a bit of digging to get a sense of what we’ll see at the FFF. The result is something of a grab bag, assembled by thumbing through the program (available online here), picking out some winners and a few that look interesting, and posting the trailers below. Just note that this is hardly scratching the surface and, if you’re in the mood, you can find plenty more online.

See you at the Festival!
