Back before the whole world became fixated on our global pandemic (you know, like four weeks ago), we at The Arts Partnership were moving through our days, communicating about all the arts programming going on in the Metro, gearing up for our spring fundraiser and other activities, preparing for our spring grant round and planning to celebrate our 50th year at The State of the Arts.
But that was then, and this is now.
So, we have pivoted. What COVID-19 has taught us all is that we need community more than ever. And every single person, every artist and arts institution has a meaningful part to play in creating it.
Here’s what I can promise you: The Arts Partnership is here now, nimbly leading the arts sector. We created the Arts Nonprofit Emergency Relief Fund. We launched our weekly Friday 4:44pm TAPpy Hours with our Partners to keep you engaged with the local arts scene. We are continuing to write content for The Forum. We are preparing to launch our annual City Arts Partnership grant program. And so much more.
We are the umbrella for the arts, and we invite you to join us in making sure that it is protecting everyone who works and participates in the arts. Please invite your social media network to get engaged with us, too.
Like us, follow us, share our content and encourage your network to do the same. We are here, doing the important work to #supportlocalart. Join us under our umbrella, and when this is done, we’ll all celebrate together.
