Managing Artistic Director — Gooseberry Park Players

We are seeking a dynamic, mission-driven theatre professional to serve as the Managing Artistic Director of the long-standing Gooseberry Park Players program in the Fargo-Moorhead area. Individuals will work with a volunteer board of directors that provides coordination of fundraising, advertising, family involvement, administration of resources and oversight in the twelve-month process of creating a full-length summer musical production performed each July. The Managing Artistic Director is expected to coordinate, with board approval of, conceive, develop and implement the established vision and mission-based, educational focus of the theatre company and its production. In addition, the Managing Artistic Director will cast each production in late winter/early spring and direct rehearsals and show productions June through the run of the show in late July. Knowledge of the theory and techniques to compose, produce and perform works of music, dance, and visual arts is required with the aim of producing a show that is based on classic and contemporary dramatic literature designed to intrigue, inform, educate and entertain a family audience. Passion for working with youth and experience with students aged 11 to 18 years old is essential. Theatre and Education related degrees preferred. The individual will begin working with the Gooseberry Park Players’ Board of Directors immediately following being hired in preparation for the Summer 2023 Season.

CEO — The Fargo-Moorhead Symphony Orchestra

The Fargo-Moorhead Symphony Orchestra (FMSO) is pleased to announce its search for a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The CEO is responsible for managing the human and financial resources of the FMSO to achieve the orchestra’s mission. The CEO is selected by and reports to the Symphony’s Board of Trustees through the Board President and is responsible for the supervision of all administrative and concert production staff. Areas of responsibility include Operational Management, Artistic Administration/Concert Production, Fundraising, Strategy/Marketing & Public Relations.
