11 am – 3 pm: The Moorhead Friends Writers Group will be signing their third anthology and newest release, Tales From the Water’s Edge. In this captivating collection of stories which beckon readers to explore the liminal space where land meets water, each piece in the anthology transports readers to where the human experience intertwines with the elemental forces of nature. These diverse works offer a poignant reminder of our deep and enduring connection to water.
3pm- 6 pm: Exclusive book signing by Melissa Prusi and Steven Hopstaken, the authors of the Stoker’s Wilde trilogy from Flame Tree Press. In addition, Hopstaken has authored a solo novel, A Man Among Ghosts. Melissa Prusi and Steven Hopstaken spent a brief time in Los Angeles, where they both worked for Warner Bros. television, and sold two screenplays. They currently live in St. Louis Park, Minnesota where, if they’re not writing, you can usually find them at a movie, local theater production, improv show or pub quiz.
The Moorhead Friends Writing Group seeks to provide a welcoming and respectful place where writers of all skill levels can practice and improve their craft, have opportunities to showcase their work, and expand upon their knowledge of the publishing industry. The group has over 40 writers in 13 states and Canada. Combined, our members have over 36 published titles.
