FMCT brings you the ultimate celebration of 1960’s girl power! BEEHIVE: THE 60’S MUSICAL nostalgically recalls the days of miniskirts, transistor radios and flower power. The story is told from the perspective of six women who come of age in this enigmatic decade, as they sing their way through 40 of the most iconic songs of this era. Featuring such timeless classics as “My Boyfriend’s Back,” “Be My Baby,” “Son of a Preacher Man” and “Me and Bobby McGee,” this toe-tapping, non-stop musical will have you dancing in your seats (and in the streets!)
Two outdoor performances will be held Aug 14-15 at 8:00pm in the beautiful Viking Ship Park, adjacent to the Hjemkomst Center (202 1st Ave N, Moorhead, MN). Both reserved and general admission seating is available. – Tickets
An indoor dinner theatre performance will be held Sunday, Aug 18 at 5:30pm at our Community Stage inside the Hjemkomst Center. Dinner is catered by Jay’s Smokin’ BBQ and on the menu is a delicious 1960’s-inspired meal featuring a Pub Burger with deluxe toppings, mac & cheese, crispy veggies and dessert. – Tickets
