The Cello and Double Bass Studio of Concordia College is excited to present a concert dedicated to the music of the 20th and 21st centuries. In collaboration with The Rourke Art Gallery and Museum, musicians will be sharing works by composers Tony, Osborn, Sofia Gubaidulina, Terry Rilley, Alexander Tansman, Bj Davis, and more. The musical performance will be enriched by the surrounding artworks of John Scott Postovit, Fritz Scholder, Duane K. Mickelson, and other selections from the Permanent Collections of The Rourke.
Stay after the performance for refreshments and conversations with the musicians. This event is free and open to the public.
