The Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County (HCSCC) is thrilled to announce a 5K Fundraiser to be held on October 12, starting at 8 AM at the Hjemkomst Center. Registration to this event is $35 and the course begins at the Hjemkomst Center then along the river to the Homestead Park and then back to the Hjemkomst Center. This exciting event offers a unique opportunity for community members to come together in support of local history and culture while enjoying a fun and active morning.
Participants will receive complimentary admission to the museum, an exclusive event t-shirt, and a beautifully handcrafted medal, among many other surprises. This 5K is designed to be enjoyable for everyone, whether you’re a seasoned runner or simply looking for a fun way to support a good cause.
In addition to the race, attendees will have the chance to tour the historic Berquist Cabin, providing a glimpse into the area’s rich heritage. This event is an excellent way for families, friends, and individuals to engage with the HCSCC and learn more about the cultural and historical fabric of Clay County.
