Live and Local: 48 Hour Band Competition

Do you play an instrument and/or sing? Have you ever wanted to be in a band? Are you in a band and you want to flex your songwriting, singing, playing? Join us for the first-ever Jade Presents 48 Hour Band Competition!

How it works:

Come to The Hall on Thursday, November 7, at 6 PM to receive your participant packets and meet your fellow band members. If you can’t make it at this time but would still like to participate, please reach out to booking@jadepresents.com and we will find a solution.
We will go over the rules, answer questions, and solve any problems that pop up! After the participant meeting, it’s time to get to work! Develop a plan to practice and work on music with your group because in 48 hours you will be performing for two judges and an audience of adoring fans!

Rules and info:
* Must be at least 18 years old to participate
* All skill levels welcome
* This event is free to participate
* Participants will receive two free tickets to a Jade Presents show of their choice.
* Participants are in charge of finding rehearsal space
* Groups will be put together randomly
* Bands are limited to 10 minutes of music or roughly three songs.
* No covers allowed. New, original music please!

The goal of this event is to provide opportunities for local musicians of all skill levels to meet, network, share and learn from each other! Please remember, this is intended to be fun. It’s a contest, but not meant to be taken too seriously.
