Tuesdays for Toddlers: Creative Crowns

August 13 @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am

Tuesday August 13
Tuesday August 27
at the Plains Art Museum

Description

Join us on an adventure around Plains Art Museum with the Fargo Public Library! Enjoy a story, gallery visit with a hands-on activity, and an art project.

Each month we will offer a new art project for the child to create and take home. Suggested for children ages 2-5. Younger siblings, under 2 years, are allowed to accompany the group.

Instructors

Jill Johnston
  • Jill Johnston is a teaching artist, executive assistant and studio program assistant for kid quest at Plains Art Museum. Graduating in 2019 from MSUM with a BFA in studio arts and an emphasis in ceramics, she enjoys teaching in her favorite media. She believes in striving for positive experiences and encouragement for all within the arts, starting with young artists, to build confidence and develop a creative voice.  She has been a teaching artist for three years.
Alatera McCann
  • Alatera McCann received her BFA in Art Education and Studio Art with an emphasis in Ceramics and Minor in Art History from Minnesota State University Moorhead. Making is a process of discovery, investigation, and application. I encourage my students to get lost in their work, follow their curiosities, and show what they learned to others.
