Public Invitation: Share your input on local art initiatives at “Imagine an Artful West Fargo”

West Fargo artists and art supporters are invited to put on their creative thinking caps to “Imagine an Artful West Fargo,” Thursday, Feb. 20, 7 p.m., at the West Fargo Fire Department.

The session, “Creative Thinking: Imagining an Artful West Fargo,” will be led by Adam Pankow, a member of the Civic West Steering Committee and Stage West artistic director, along with Tania Blanich, executive director of the Arts Partnership.

Pankow said the two want to engage the audience to identify artistic work already happening in West Fargo and to talk about challenges and roadblocks to growing the arts in the community. Participants will be invited to brainstorm creative ideas about how to integrate arts and culture into civic placemaking and economic development.

The session is the next in a monthly series of Fire Hall Chats by the West Fargo nonprofit organization, Civic West. The West Fargo Fire Department is at 1201 10th Ave. E. in West Fargo.
